VEEM’s CNC Machining services provide unmatched precision and efficiency, handling both intricate, small-scale components and large, complex parts. With our fleet of 14 multi-axis CNC machines, including 5-axis and beyond, we can achieve tolerances down to microns and deliver high-precision components for industries requiring exacting standards.

Our maximum machining size capacity is 8.5 meters x 15 meters x 2.5 meters, making VEEM one of the few facilities in Australia capable of handling such large and complex projects. The integration of sophisticated CAD/CAM systems enables rapid programming and seamless data transfer, ensuring efficient production for both small-batch and large-scale projects.

Conventional Machining

VEEM has been providing conventional machining services since 1968, maintaining a reputation for delivering high-quality, manual machining. Our skilled machinists use traditional tools alongside modern equipment to produce specialized components that require detailed craftsmanship and manual expertise.

VEEM’s machining services are supported by state-of-the-art inspection technology, including advanced CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and CAD/CAM systems, as well as the GOM ATOS 5 3D scanner with full photogrammetry. These tools ensure precision, accuracy, and consistency at every stage of production, meeting the strict requirements of industries like aerospace and defence.

Our CMM technology verifies dimensional accuracy, ensuring all components adhere to exact tolerance specifications. Meanwhile, our sophisticated CAD/CAM facilities are directly linked to CNC machines, enabling rapid programming, seamless data transfer, and efficient production of complex components.

Additionally, VEEM offers dimensional inspection services utilizing the GOM ATOS 5, a cutting-edge optical measurement system designed for high-precision analysis. This system provides dimensional and geometric measurements, surface texture analysis, and deviation comparisons against CAD models or design specifications, guaranteeing that every part—whether an intricate prototype or a large-scale component—meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
